Fuel oil demand in Costa Rica drops in May 2018

In comparison to the prior month the variable diminished by 5.98 percent, revised statistics from JODI Data highlight. Fuel oil demand dropped by 0.62 thousand tonnes, in contrast to the prior month when it climbed by 11.67 percent. The year before, the indicator was increasing by 8.07% and attained 10.31 thousand tonnes the same month one year earlier. Year-on-year, this highlights a -5.98% shift between May 2017 and the same month in 2018. The overall changes for the previous 16 years reached a decline of 23.15%. Furthermore, the fuel oil demand is now smaller than its average which equals 12.63 thousand tonnes with a overall fall since the 2002. It hit its all-time high of 38.46 thousand tonnes in May 2010 and record low of 5.23 thousand tonnes in January 2011.
