Import of prepared or preserved nuts, seeds and mixes to Botswana goes down in 2016

Processed food import dropped by 13.09% compared with the year before, new data from United Nations Statistical Office indicate. Processed food import decreased by 40 985 kilogram, in contrast to the previous year when it went up by 37.94 percent. The overall changes for the prior 17 years hit a rise of 59.34%. Likewise, it has shown a 0.05 percent average annual growth rate during the last five years with a modest overall diminution since the start of time series. It averaged 438 805.12 kilogram from 2000 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 896 596 kilogram in 2006 and record low of 170 819 kilogram in 2000.
