Export of egg yolks except dried from the EU decreases in 2017

Egg yolk export dropped by 28.79% in 2017, adjusted data from United Nations Statistical Office constitute. Egg yolk export declined from 7 868 929.5 kilogram in 2016 to 5 603 536 kilogram previous year, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it went down by 1.2%. The EU saw an increase of 82.61% in egg yolk export over the past 18 years. Though, it has attained a negative average annual growth rate of 0.01% over the last five years with a negligible overall rise since the 2000. It averaged 4 548 406.36 kilogram from 2000 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 7 964 287 kilogram in 2015 and record low of 2 339 432 kilogram in 2004.
