Export of essential oils of peppermint from India falls in 2017

United Nations Statistical Office published that the indicator slightly went down by 1.88 percent compared to the prior year. Essential oils export fell hardly by 33 836 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it diminished by 32.27 percent. India saw a growth of 893.22% in essential oils export during the last 30 years. Still it has shown a negative CAGR of 0.15 percent over the last five years with a negligible overall raise since the start of time series. It averaged 2 413 084.5 kilogram from 1988 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 5 320 155 kilogram in 2007 and record low of 105 602 kilogram in 1990.
