Import of medicaments of other antibiotics not packaged for retail sale to Ireland: Rise in 2016

European Commission published that in 2016 the variable climbed strongly by 42.89 percent. The indicator sharply increased from 1 872 530 Euro in 2015 to 2 675 700 Euro prior year, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it grew by 1.96 percent. Ireland saw a fall of 95.11% in antibiotic import over the past 17 years. Moreover, it has shown a decline at a 0.06% compound average annual growth rate over the 5 years with a slight overall drop since the start of time series. It averaged 14 277 337.65 Euro from 2000 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 54 713 600 Euro in 2000 and record low of 1 144 750 Euro in 2010.
