Import of mandarin, clementine and citrus hybrids to Uruguay: Growth in 2016

Mandarin import greatly grew by 268.31 percent compared to the prior year, according to statistics announced by United Nations Statistical Office. Mandarin import went up strongly by 26 080 kilogram, compared with the previous year when it diminished by 80.82%. Uruguay saw a rise of 87.93% in mandarin import during the last 19 years. Though, it has shown a negative compound annual growth rate of 0.04% over the last 5 years with a slight overall increase since the start of time series. It averaged 59 650.95 kilogram from 1998 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 299 040 kilogram in 2009 and record low of 9 720 kilogram in 2015.
