Export of mannitol from Indonesia: Diminution in 2017

According to refreshed numbers released by United Nations Statistical Office, in 2017 organic chemicals export dropped sharply by 76.64%. The variable strongly went down from 107 kilogram to 25 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it diminished by 99.21%. Indonesia saw a diminution of 99.88% in organic chemicals export over the past 21 years. Moreover, it has had a negative compound average annual growth rate of 0.88% during the last five years with a negligible overall drop since the 1997. It averaged 17 409.05 kilogram from 1997 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 104 429 kilogram in 1999 and record low of 2 kilogram in 2011.
