Import of copper alloy wire to Cabo Verde: Rise in 2016

According to data announced by United Nations Statistical Office, in 2016 copper import increased greatly by 60.5%. Copper import strongly rose from 13 006 US Dollar to 20 874 US Dollar, in contrast to the previous year when it decreased by 17.11%. The overall changes for the prior 20 years hit a raise of 114.44%. However, it has shown a negative compound average annual growth rate of 0.08 percent over the 5 years with a marginal overall growth since the 1997. It averaged 10 723.05 US Dollar from 1997 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 32 083 US Dollar in 2012 and record low of 147 US Dollar in 2004.
