Import of electrical sheet and strip, grain non-oriented of a width exceeding 600 mm to Austria: Decrease in 2017

In 2017 steel import went down by 22.98 percent, refreshed numbers from European Commission indicate. The variable fell by 969 110 Euro, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it diminished by 42.91 percent. It's the lowest level on record since 2008. Austria saw a decline of 53.51% in steel import during the last 10 years. Moreover, it has had a fall at a 0.16 percent compound annual growth rate over the five years with a modest overall decrease since the start of observations. It averaged 5 972 614 Euro from 2008 to 2017 and it attained its maximum of 7 590 070 Euro in 2012.
