Import of boots with outer sole of rubber or plastics and uppers of leather to Oman decreases in 2016

Footwear import declined greatly by 45.62 percent compared with the previous year, according to new numbers issued by United Nations Statistical Office. Footwear import strongly decreased by 2 076 286 US Dollar, contrarily to the prior year when it grew by 92.08 percent. The overall changes for the previous 17 years reached a rise of 435.79%. As well as it has shown a 0.05 percent average annual growth rate during the 5 years with a negligible overall growth since the start of time series. It averaged 1 806 205.65 US Dollar from 2000 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 4 551 111 US Dollar in 2015 and record low of 461 906 US Dollar in 2000.
