Import of  mechanically made lace of man-made fibres to Ireland decreases in 2017

The variable sharply diminished by 53.32% in comparison to 2016, revised figures from United Nations Statistical Office show. Textile import dropped strongly by 11 948.95 US Dollar, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it decreased by 53.13 percent. It hit its 26-year minimum. The overall changes for the prior 26 years attained a decline of 98.81%. Likewise, it has shown a diminution at a 0.35 percent compound average annual growth rate over the last 5 years with a negligible overall drop since the start of time series. It averaged 117 954.12 US Dollar from 1992 to 2017 and it reached its maximum of 878 038 US Dollar in 1992.
