Import of worked marble, travertine and alabaster to Jordan falls in 2017

According to refreshed figures presented by United Nations Statistical Office, natural stone import decreased sharply by 42.24 percent compared to the previous year. The variable strongly went down by 9 135 248 kilogram, versus the prior year when it climbed by 24.66%. The overall changes for the previous 19 years attained a rise of 3 778.74%. Though, it has attained a decline at a 0.03% compound average annual growth rate during the 5 years with a negligible overall growth since the start of observations. It averaged 6 442 272.95 kilogram from 1999 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 21 626 102 kilogram in 2016 and record low of 282 478 kilogram in 2003.
