Import of yarn of synthetic staple fibres packaged for retail sale to Portugal decreases in 2017

Compared to the year before the variable sharply dropped by 37.58 percent, refreshed numbers from European Commission display. Yarn import diminished greatly by 50 100 kilogram, in comparison with the previous year when it grew by 60.02 percent. Portugal saw a raise of 328.87% in yarn import over the past 10 years. However, it has shown a negative CAGR of 0.18% over the last five years with a modest overall rise since the start of time series. It averaged 95 050 kilogram from 2008 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 240 500 kilogram in 2014 and record low of 13 300 kilogram in 2009.
