Outbound passengers of international airlines in Australia increases in 2017

Australian Department of Infrastructure and Regional Development reported that passenger traffic on airlines increased by 6.99% compared with the previous year. It's new all-time high since 1957 as the variable grew from 18 629 592 number of persons to 19 932 188 number of persons, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it rose by 7.16 percent. The overall changes for the prior 61 years reached a growth of 32 910.15%. Moreover, it has shown a 0.05% compound annual growth rate over the five years with a slight overall raise since the start of observations. It averaged 5 299 170.87 number of persons from 1957 to 2017 and it hit its minimum of 60 382 number of persons in 1957.
