Export of yarn of artificial staple fibres not packaged for retail sale from Latvia: Increase in 2016

Yarn export increased by 8.33% compared to the prior year, according to adjusted data announced by European Commission. The indicator grew from 2 400 kilogram in 2015 to 2 600 kilogram previous year, in contrast to the prior year when it went down by 85.71 percent. Latvia saw a growth of 160% in yarn export during the last 11 years. Though, it has shown a drop at a 0.26 percent CAGR over the five years with a marginal overall increase since the start of time series. It averaged 10 972.73 kilogram from 2006 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 23 700 kilogram in 2011 and record low of 1 000 kilogram in 2006.
