Turnover of particle board and fibreboard mills in Canada: Drop in June 2018

Wood product sales dropped by 8.04% in comparison to the previous month, according to refreshed figures released by Canada National Statistical Office. The variable went down from 160 758 thousand Canadian Dollars to 147 838 thousand Canadian Dollars, compared to the prior month when it rose by 14.09 percent. When taking into account the year before, it can be diagnosed that the indicator was falling by -9.13% and hit 142 101 thousand Canadian Dollars in June. To sum up, the variable was 4.04 percent larger in June 2017 than in the same month in 2018. Canada saw a growth of 363.05% in wood product sales during the last 26 years. Compared with its average, the wood product sales is now bigger as the mean equals 102 308.44 thousand Canadian Dollars with a slight overall rise since the 1992. It attained its all-time high of 164 725 thousand Canadian Dollars in May 2000 and record low of 31 596 thousand Canadian Dollars in December 1992.
