Production of yarn of synthetic staple fibres not packaged for retail sale in Lithuania rises in 2017

European Commission reported that in comparison with the prior year the variable went up by 6.45 percent. The indicator climbed by 103 699 kilogram, versus the previous year when it diminished by 21.45%. Lithuania saw a diminution of 76.23% in yarn production over the past 10 years. As well as it has shown a decrease at a 0.11% compound average annual growth rate during the last 5 years with a negligible overall drop since the 2008. It averaged 2 850 882.3 kilogram from 2008 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 7 199 373 kilogram in 2008 and record low of 1 607 529 kilogram in 2016.
