Production of yarn of synthetic staple fibres not packaged for retail sale in Lithuania: Fall in 2017

European Commission published that in 2017 the variable sharply diminished by 42.23 percent. Yarn production strongly dropped by 678 798 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it went down by 21.45%. It shows the all-time low since 2008. The overall changes for the prior 10 years hit a decline of 87.1%. Moreover, it has shown a diminution at a 0.21 percent compound average annual growth rate during the last 5 years with a negligible overall decrease since the start of observations. It averaged 2 772 632.6 kilogram from 2008 to 2017 and it reached its maximum of 7 199 373 kilogram in 2008.
