Re-export of sanitary towels and tampons, napkins and napkin liners for babies from Mauritius rises in 2016

According to figures published by United Nations Statistical Office, the variable greatly grew by 228.74% in comparison to the year before. Consumer goods export increased sharply by 107 786 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it climbed by 24.26 percent. It's new all-time high since 2001. Mauritius saw a raise of 8 096.19% in consumer goods export over the past 16 years. Likewise, it has shown a growth at a 0.16 percent compound average annual growth rate over the five years with a slight overall rise since the start of time series. It averaged 35 677.38 kilogram from 2001 to 2016 and it reached its minimum of 1 890 kilogram in 2001.
