Import of medicaments of other antibiotics not packaged for retail sale to Finland decreases in 2016

The variable declined by 18.83% in comparison to 2015, updated figures from European Commission show. Antibiotic import went down by 188 230 Euro, in contrast to the prior year when it grew by 283.66%. The overall changes for the previous 17 years attained an increase of 419.15%. Furthermore, it has had a 0.85% compound average annual growth rate during the last 5 years with a marginal overall decline since the start of observations. It averaged 686 423.53 Euro from 2000 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 6 000 650 Euro in 2006 and record low of 30 030 Euro in 2011.
