Import of live horses except pure-bred breeding to Lithuania climbs in 2017

In 2017 horses import went up greatly by 1 100%, new figures from United Nations Statistical Office pinpoint. The variable grew strongly from 1 to 12, versus the previous year when it fell by 96.77%. Lithuania saw a drop of 87.76% in horses import over the past 23 years. Moreover, it has shown a 0.25 percent CAGR over the 5 years with a marginal overall decline since the start of time series. It averaged 159.61 from 1995 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 774 in 2007 and record low of 1 in 2016.
