Export of not roasted and not decaffeinated coffee from Honduras declines in 2016

According to new statistics released by United Nations Statistical Office, coffee export decreased by 7.86 percent in comparison to the prior year. The variable went down from 931 666 688 US Dollar in 2015 to 858 423 872 US Dollar prior year, in contrast to the previous year when it went up by 19.02 percent. Honduras saw a rise of 356.17% in coffee export over the past 23 years. Still it has had a negative compound annual growth rate of 0.08 percent over the 5 years with a negligible overall increase since the 1994. It averaged 429 737 704.3 US Dollar from 1994 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 1 338 206 208 US Dollar in 2012 and record low of 5 155 147 US Dollar in 1997.
