Export of propelling or sliding pencils from Turkey falls in 2017

According to data published by United Nations Statistical Office, in 2017 the indicator sharply dropped by 47.96 percent. Consumer goods export decreased strongly from 994 255 to 517 416, contrarily to the previous year when it increased by 18.58%. It's the lowest level on record since 2000. The overall changes for the prior 18 years hit a drop of 91.61%. Besides, it has had a diminution at a 0.1% compound average annual growth rate during the last five years with a modest overall decline since the start of time series. It averaged 7 632 069.39 from 2000 to 2017 and it attained its maximum of 36 452 056 in 2001.
