Import of milk with a fat content not exceeding 1% to Barbados falls in 2016

Milk import sharply decreased by 99.93 percent in comparison with the previous year, adjusted numbers from United Nations Statistical Office illustrate. Milk import fell greatly by 2 982 kilogram, versus the prior year when it grew by 103.27 percent. It's new all-time minimum since 1997. Barbados saw a decrease of 100% in milk import during the last 20 years. Moreover, it has shown a decline at a 0.89 percent compound average annual growth rate during the five years with a slight overall diminution since the start of time series. It averaged 66 663.55 kilogram from 1997 to 2016 and it reached its maximum of 239 750 kilogram in 1997.
