Export of fresh or chilled peas from Thailand: Decrease in 2016

In 2016 peas export strongly decreased by 95.89%, revised numbers from United Nations Statistical Office pinpoint. The variable declined sharply from 61 487 kilogram to 2 525 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it fell by 45.21%. Thailand saw a growth of 342.98% in peas export during the last 28 years. Still it has shown a diminution at a 0.75 percent compound average annual growth rate during the last 5 years with a negligible overall increase since the 1989. It averaged 414 968.29 kilogram from 1989 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 2 687 449 kilogram in 2012 and record low of 570 kilogram in 1989.
