Export of fresh or chilled peas from Thailand declines in 2016

According to numbers issued by United Nations Statistical Office, the indicator greatly fell by 95.89 percent in comparison with the prior year. Peas export sharply diminished by 58 962 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it decreased by 45.21 percent. Thailand saw a growth of 342.98% in peas export over the past 28 years. Still it has had a decrease at a 0.75 percent compound annual growth rate over the last 5 years with a slight overall increase since the start of time series. It averaged 414 968.29 kilogram from 1989 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 2 687 449 kilogram in 2012 and record low of 570 kilogram in 1989.
