Gas and diesel export in China: Fall in June 2018

Compared with the previous month the variable fell by 19.5 percent, adjusted data from JODI Data demonstrate. Gas and diesel oil export declined from 2 000 thousand tonnes to 1 610 thousand tonnes, contrarily to the prior month when it went up by 9.89%. When taking into account the previous year, it can be noticed that the indicator was going up by 6.5 percent and hit 1 310 thousand tonnes in June. Between June 2017 and the same month one year later, the figures display a 22.9 percent variation. China saw an increase of 570.83% in gas and diesel oil export during the last 15 years. Besides, the gas and diesel oil export is now above average of 409.89 thousand tonnes with a modest overall raise since the start of time series. It attained its all-time high of 2 380 thousand tonnes in March 2018 and record low of 20 thousand tonnes in August 2008.
