Fuel oil consumption in manufacture of foods in China falls in 2015

Fuel oil consumption sharply decreased by 35.2% in comparison with the prior year, revised statistics from China National Statistical Office constitute. Fuel oil consumption dropped strongly by 1.95 ten thousand metric ton, versus the previous year when it went up by 8.84%. It indicates the all-time low since 2000. China saw a decrease of 60.29% in fuel oil consumption during the last 16 years. Besides, it has shown a negative compound annual growth rate of 0.11 percent during the last 5 years with a overall drop since the 2000. It averaged 10.41 ten thousand metric ton from 2000 to 2015 and it attained its maximum of 17.06 ten thousand metric ton in 2005.
