Chromium metal imports in United States: Diminution in 2015

According to numbers issued by U.S. Geological Survey, chromium import dropped by 26.86 percent compared with the prior year. The indicator decreased by 4 700 metric ton, versus the previous year when it grew by 27.74%. United States saw a growth of 34.45% in chromium import during the last 18 years. However, it has attained a negative CAGR of 0.01% during the 5 years with a negligible overall raise since the start of observations. It averaged 11 248.33 metric ton from 1998 to 2015 and it hit its all-time high of 17 500 metric ton in 2014 and record low of 7 430 metric ton in 2002.
