Import of medicaments of other antibiotics not packaged for retail sale to France goes up in 2016

In comparison with the previous year the indicator increased by 7.16 percent, according to figures presented by European Commission. Antibiotic import climbed from 11 763 130 Euro to 12 605 820 Euro, compared to the prior year when it decreased by 25.47 percent. The overall changes for the previous 17 years reached a decrease of 72.24%. Furthermore, it has had a 0.21 percent average annual growth rate over the 5 years with a marginal overall drop since the 2000. It averaged 14 640 989.41 Euro from 2000 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 45 409 320 Euro in 2000 and record low of 1 140 580 Euro in 2008.
