Import of medicaments of other antibiotics not packaged for retail sale to France climbs in 2017

According to numbers published by European Commission, in comparison with the previous year antibiotic import climbed by 17.39 percent. The indicator grew from 12 605 820 Euro in 2016 to 14 798 420 Euro prior year, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it rose by 7.16 percent. France saw a decrease of 23.4% in antibiotic import during the last 23 years. Besides, it has shown the CAGR of 0.2 percent during the five years with a modest overall drop since the start of observations. It averaged 15 935 460.87 Euro from 1995 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 45 409 320 Euro in 2000 and record low of 1 140 580 Euro in 2008.
