Naphtha export in Norway: Decrease in May 2018

The indicator diminished by 6.6 percent in May 2018, according to figures published by JODI Data. Naphtha export decreased by 13 thousand tonnes, as it follows the tendency of the prior month when it fell by 5.29%. The numbers hit 116 thousand tonnes in May 2017, which is a -45.02 percent change compared to the prior month of the same year. When examining the year-on-year situation, a 58.62 percent rise can be established between May 2017 and May of the year after. The overall changes for the previous 9 years attained a decline of 19.65%. As well as the naphtha export is now smaller than its average which equals 189.04 thousand tonnes with a overall decrease since the 2009. It reached its all-time high of 377 thousand tonnes in May 2014 and record low of 34 thousand tonnes in October 2016.
