Export of whole geese, ducks and guinea fowls from Ireland falls in 2017

Compared with the prior year poultry meat export strongly went down by 67.04 percent, new figures from European Commission indicate. The indicator diminished greatly by 153 240 Euro, versus the previous year when it rose by 70.72 percent. It hit its 6-year low. Ireland saw a decline of 19.4% in poultry meat export during the last 6 years. Besides, it has shown a drop at a 0.04% compound annual growth rate over the five years with a marginal overall increase since the 2012. It averaged 118 168.33 Euro from 2012 to 2017 and it attained its maximum of 228 590 Euro in 2016.
