Commercial vehicles in use in United Arab Emirates: Growth in 2017

Commercial vehicles in use rose barely by 4.44 percent in comparison to the previous year, new data from OICA show. It's the highest value on record since 2005 as the indicator grew slightly from 146.5 thousand units to 153 thousand units, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it increased by 4.64 percent. United Arab Emirates saw a rise of 121.74% in commercial vehicles in use over the past 13 years. Moreover, it has had the compound average annual growth rate of 0.04% during the five years with a slight overall growth since the start of time series. It averaged 109.99 thousand units from 2005 to 2017 and it attained its minimum of 69 thousand units in 2005.
