Output of pork, beef and mutton of state farms in China rises in 2016

According to adjusted data published by China National Statistical Office, pork production climbed hardly by 0.22 percent in 2016. Pork production barely increased by 0.4 ten thousand metric ton, in contrast to the previous year when it declined by 3.86 percent. China saw a raise of 393.09% in pork production over the past 29 years. Still it has attained a negative compound average annual growth rate of 0.03% during the 5 years with a slight overall rise since the start of time series. It averaged 106.21 ten thousand metric ton from 1988 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 220.3 ten thousand metric ton in 2012 and record low of 37.2 ten thousand metric ton in 1991.
