Export of tugs and pusher craft from Kazakhstan declines in 2017

Maritime transport export fell greatly by 75.25% in comparison with the prior year, according to adjusted figures announced by United Nations Statistical Office. The indicator strongly diminished from 4 170 100 kilogram in 2016 to 1 032 300 kilogram previous year, contrarily to the prior year when it increased by 19.36 percent. Kazakhstan saw a decline of 41.47% in maritime transport export during the last 18 years. Likewise, it has shown a drop at a 0.29% compound annual growth rate during the 5 years with a marginal overall fall since the 2000. It averaged 2 681 465.33 kilogram from 2000 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 9 292 700 kilogram in 2001 and record low of 123 960 kilogram in 2007.
