Import of live pure-bred breeding horses to El Salvador decreases in 2017

Horses import went down by 27.39 percent compared with the previous year, according to revised statistics presented by United Nations Statistical Office. The indicator fell from 110 760 US Dollar in 2016 to 80 424.39 US Dollar prior year, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it dropped by 13.58 percent. El Salvador saw a rise of 1 122.26% in horses import during the last 24 years. As well as it has attained the average annual growth rate of 0.08% during the 5 years with a negligible overall growth since the start of observations. It averaged 52 824.31 US Dollar from 1994 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 139 379 US Dollar in 2014 and record low of 6 580 US Dollar in 1994.
