Fuel oil demand in Portugal: Decline in June 2018

JODI Data published that in comparison with the previous month fuel oil demand fell by 19.2%. The indicator declined by 5.31 thousand barrels per day, contrarily to the prior month when it increased by 9.08%. The prior year, this change reached -11.02 percent and the fuel oil demand attained 20 thousand barrels per day the same month one year earlier. Between June 2017 and the same month the year after, the figures illustrate a 11.83% shift. The overall changes for the previous 16 years hit a fall of 77.94%. Compared with its average, the fuel oil demand is now smaller as the mean equals 39.62 thousand barrels per day with a overall diminution since the start of observations. It reached its all-time high of 101.33 thousand barrels per day in January 2002 and record low of 14.98 thousand barrels per day in December 2014.
