Mobile data usage in Germany rises in 2017

Mobile data traffic went up by 28.54 percent in comparison with the prior year, revised data from German Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy reveal. The indicator climbed from 918 million gigabytes to 1 180 million gigabytes, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it rose by 59.65%. It shows the all-time peak since 2008. The overall changes for the prior 10 years hit a growth of 10 627.27%. As well as it has had a 0.35 percent compound average annual growth rate during the last 5 years with a negligible overall increase since the start of observations. It averaged 370 million gigabytes from 2008 to 2017 and it attained its minimum of 11 million gigabytes in 2008.
