Household expenditure on fish and shellfish in Japan remains unchanged in 2017

Japan National Statistical Office published that compared to the previous year the indicator remained the same. The fish, shellfish expenditure remained unchanged at 64 157 Japanese Yen, for the 2nd consecutive year. The overall changes for the prior 15 years reached a drop of 20.29%. Likewise, the fish, shellfish expenditure is now smaller than its average which equals 69 625.73 Japanese Yen and the variable indicates a modest overall decline since the 2003. It hit its all-time high of 80 491 Japanese Yen in 2003 and record low of 63 620 Japanese Yen in 2012.
