Retail sales of home health products in Canada rises in Q4 of 2017

Canada National Statistical Office announced that consumer goods sales climbed negligibly by 2.23 percent in 4th quarter 2017. Consumer goods sales barely rose from 9 832 491 thousand Canadian Dollars to 10 051 731 thousand Canadian Dollars, versus the previous quarter when it dropped by 3.71 percent. In Q4 2016, the variable went up by 3.97% and hit 9 878 855 thousand Canadian Dollars. In short, the indicator was 1.75 percent larger in Q4 2016 than in Q4 of the year after. Canada saw a raise of 32.57% in consumer goods sales during the last 5 years. Compared to its average, the consumer goods sales is now bigger as the mean equals 8 787 324.75 thousand Canadian Dollars with a marginal overall rise since the start of observations. It attained its all-time high of 10 211 481 thousand Canadian Dollars in 2Q 2017 and record low of 7 582 345 thousand Canadian Dollars in Q1 of 2012.
