Sales of wooden furniture in Norway goes down in 2016

European Commission announced that in 2016 sales of wooden furniture diminished greatly by 68.27 percent. The indicator strongly decreased by 985.94 thousand items, in contrast to the previous year when it grew by 349.6%. Norway saw a decline of 36.38% in sales of wooden furniture over the past 12 years. Besides, it has attained a negative average annual growth rate of 0.01 percent over the last 5 years with a slight overall drop since the 2005. It averaged 576.54 thousand items from 2005 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 1 444.14 thousand items in 2015 and record low of 184.07 thousand items in 2011.
