Import of medicaments of other antibiotics not packaged for retail sale to Belgium: Decrease in 2017

According to updated numbers issued by European Commission, the indicator diminished sharply by 84.95 percent in 2017. Antibiotic import dropped strongly from 107 363 824 Euro in 2016 to 16 157 980 Euro previous year, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it went down by 32.17 percent. The overall changes for the previous 23 years attained a raise of 341.44%. Likewise, it has attained a 0.1% CAGR during the last five years with a marginal overall growth since the start of time series. It averaged 14 595 095.39 Euro from 1995 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 158 281 760 Euro in 2015 and record low of 416 920 Euro in 2004.
