Gas and diesel demand in Macedonia falls in May 2018

In comparison with the previous month the indicator hardly decreased by 3.23 percent, new numbers from JODI Data reveal. Gas and diesel oil demand dropped slightly from 12.58 thousand barrels per day to 12.17 thousand barrels per day, versus the prior month when it grew by 17.11 percent. In May of the year before, the variable diminished by -3.23 percent and reached 11.7 thousand barrels per day. Year-on-year, this shows a 4.08 percent change between May 2017 and the same month in 2018. The overall changes for the previous 4 years attained a rise of 59.3%. Furthermore, the gas and diesel oil demand is now higher than its average which equals 11.51 thousand barrels per day with a overall growth since the 2014. It hit its all-time high of 16.03 thousand barrels per day in June 2016 and record low of 7.64 thousand barrels per day in January 2014.
