Export of bituminous coal from Serbia: Raise in 2016

In comparison with the previous year bituminous coal export increased sharply by 611.35 percent, adjusted figures from United Nations Statistical Office demonstrate. The indicator greatly climbed from 38 961 US Dollar to 277 148 US Dollar, in contrast to the prior year when it decreased by 62.57%. Serbia saw an increase of 124.8% in bituminous coal export during the last 10 years. Besides, it has had a raise at a 1.16% compound annual growth rate over the 5 years with a negligible overall fall since the 2007. It averaged 272 526.9 US Dollar from 2007 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 1 370 090 US Dollar in 2009 and record low of 5 843 US Dollar in 2012.
