Value added of educational services in Canada goes up in April 2018

According to new numbers announced by Canada National Statistical Office, education and training value added grew negligibly by 0.2% in comparison with March. The variable hardly went up from 91 563 million Canadian Dollars to 91 748 million Canadian Dollars, in comparison to the previous month when it diminished by 0.12 percent. It hit its 21-year peak. April 2017, the indicator went down by -0.19 percent and attained 89 633 million Canadian Dollars. Between April 2017 and April of the year after, the data display a 2.36% shift. Canada saw a growth of 48.1% in education and training value added over the past 21 years. Besides, the education and training value added is now above average of 75 568.58 million Canadian Dollars with a negligible overall increase since the 1997. It reached its minimum of 59 988 million Canadian Dollars in October 1997.
