Import of butyric acids and valeric acids to Iceland: Increase in 2017

The variable strongly grew by 650 percent compared to the same time an year ago, according to refreshed data presented by United Nations Statistical Office. The indicator rose sharply from 2 kilogram in 2016 to 15 kilogram prior year, when it remained stable by 0%. Iceland saw a diminution of 99.25% in organic chemicals import during the last 30 years. Besides, it has shown a decline at a 0.64% compound annual growth rate over the five years with a marginal overall drop since the start of time series. It averaged 1 061.77 kilogram from 1988 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 2 905 kilogram in 2008 and record low of 2 kilogram in 2016.
