Export of clasps or buckles for clothing, footwear, bags of base metal from Georgia grows in 2017

United Nations Statistical Office published that consumer goods export increased strongly by 220.06 percent in comparison to the year before. Consumer goods export greatly rose by 391.7 US Dollar, contrarily to the previous year when it dropped by 99.48%. Georgia saw a decrease of 96.03% in consumer goods export during the last 21 years. Moreover, it has attained a decline at a 0.5 percent average annual growth rate over the last 5 years with a modest overall increase since the start of time series. It averaged 5 306.18 US Dollar from 1997 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 34 231 US Dollar in 2015 and record low of 1 US Dollar in 2009.
