Import of live pure-bred breeding horses to Finland climbs in 2017

According to data presented by United Nations Statistical Office, horses import strongly went up by 166.67% compared to the prior year. The indicator sharply increased from 3 in 2016 to 8 previous year, versus the prior year when it declined by 62.5 percent. The overall changes for the previous 18 years reached a diminution of 0%. Besides, it has attained a negative average annual growth rate of 0.08 percent during the last five years with a modest overall drop since the 2000. It averaged 90.11 from 2000 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 1 446 in 2004 and record low of 3 in 2016.
