Re-export of niobium, tantalum and vanadium ores and concentrates from Hong Kong increases in 2017

In 2017 niobium export increased sharply by 49.02%, according to updated statistics announced by United Nations Statistical Office. The variable greatly went up from 892 033 kilogram to 1 329 322 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it grew by 2.25 percent. Hong Kong saw a rise of 512.59% in niobium export over the past 25 years. However, it has attained a decline at a 0.06 percent average annual growth rate over the five years with a marginal overall growth since the start of time series. It averaged 794 959.44 kilogram from 1993 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 1 789 000 kilogram in 1996 and record low of 856 kilogram in 2000.
