New vehicles registrations in Colombia falls in 2017

Compared to the previous year vehicle registration dropped by 5.09%, according to new numbers released by OICA. The variable diminished by 12 540, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it fell by 9.51%. The overall changes for the previous 13 years attained a growth of 55.97%. However, it has had a negative compound average annual growth rate of 0.04 percent over the last 5 years with a modest overall increase since the 2005. It averaged 247 212.31 from 2005 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 314 100 in 2014 and record low of 150 000 in 2005.
