Import of goat meat to Sri Lanka grows in 2017

In comparison to the previous year the variable sharply grew by 340.27 percent, according to numbers announced by United Nations Statistical Office. It reveals the all-time maximum since 1990 as goat meat import climbed greatly by 421 223.88 kilogram, in contrast to the prior year when it diminished by 46.33%. The overall changes for the previous 28 years reached a raise of 396.88%. As well as it has attained a 0.38 percent average annual growth rate over the five years with a slight overall growth since the start of observations. It averaged 86 141.89 kilogram from 1990 to 2017 and it hit its minimum of 5 663 kilogram in 1994.
