Tungsten production in Austria: Fall in 2016

The indicator hardly went down by 0.12 percent in 2016, according to refreshed statistics announced by U.S. Geological Survey. Tungsten production decreased barely by 1 metric ton, compared to the prior year when it rose by 5.13%. The overall changes for the previous 19 years hit a decrease of 39.56%. As well as it has shown a rise at a 0.04% average annual growth rate over the last 5 years with a negligible overall decline since the start of time series. It averaged 1 139.37 metric ton from 1998 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 1 610 metric ton in 1999 and record low of 706 metric ton in 2012.
